Los Angeles, CA – February 9, 2022 – Syllble, a science fiction and fantasy production company for writers and creatives based in Los Angeles is partnering with Brittle Paper Magazine, an online literary magazine for readers of African Literature. They are Africa’s premier online literary brand inspiring readers to explore and celebrate African literary experiences in all of its diversity. Brittle Paper Magazine publishes fiction, poetry, book reviews, essays and news that publicly documents the contemporary African literary scene.

We hope that it will plant the roots of a tree from which a diverse and fascinating crop of interconnected stories will come, inspiring writers today and those of tomorrow“ says Wole Talabi, Nigerian author and Editor of Africanfuturism: An Anthology, who will facilitate the collaborative sessions.
This collaboration will bring a diverse group of emerging and established African writers together including: Kalejaye Akintoba, Jude Umeh, Dare Segun Falowo, Adelehin Ijasan, Eye Kay Nwaogu (Nigeria); Stephen Embleton, Xan van Rooyen (South Africa); Cheryl S. Ntumy (Ghana); Masimba Musodza (Zimbabwe); Eugen Bacon (Tanzania).

This collective will meet, discuss, collaborate on the Syllble platform and create a new fictional universe that will serve as a new mythological African cannon to reimagine the continent’s past, present and possible futures. The World will be housed in a Story Bible.
