MEET THE AUTHORS

Elena Righi is a London-based screenwriter and concept artist specializing in thrillers, sci-fi, and fantasy. Alongside her own projects, she has collaborated with production companies on multiple feature scripts currently in development. Her sci-fi pilot has been recognized in screenwriting competitions including Screencraft and Final Draft’s Big Break, and her short films have screened at Cannes’ Straight8 and the BFI Future Film Festivals. This is her fiction debut.

Elio Estrada (they/ them) is a non-binary, Latine author, fire spinner, and sculptor. They were raised on the storytelling traditions of both their grandad and their Abuelito. The Weight of Knowing is Elio’s first published work. Elio lives in St. Louis, MO with their partner Elspeth and their many cats (Dusty, Nimoy, Calliope, Scampi, Toodles, Monet, and Renoir) and leopard gecko Toki.

Rodger Yakub is a Los Angeles-based filmmaker with a decade of experience as a cinematographer and editor. A lifelong storyteller, he also makes music and runs the hot sauce company Captain Saicin.
