The Sauuti Collective, an artist collective made up of 10 science fiction and fantasy writers and visual artists from five different African nations who are based in four different continents, has received a book deal from Android Press for their first anthology.
The anthology, titled Mothersound: The Sauútiverse Anthology, is slated for release in Fall 2023.
The Sauútiverse is a collection of short stories and novellas set in a fictional civilization based on a blend of African cultural worldviews. Edited by Wole Talabi, the anthology features contributions from writers and artists around the African continent and diaspora.
